This outstanding Hunter Valley Shiraz is deep red in colour and has lifted ripe plum, red berry fruit and liquorice characters. The fruit driven palate has a dry, ripe tannin finish and will compliment any good hearty meal.
Crafted from the 2019 Vintage the fruit for this wine was machine harvested in February 2019. It was then fermented in stainless steel tanks, with regular hand plunging. It then underwent malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques for 16 months and the finished wine was bottled in June 2020.
Recently received 95 points from the major Australian annual and it’s not hard to see why. Dark plum and cherries are the highlights with ripe, fine grained tannins and a crunch to the acidity that leaves you wanting more. Throw some red meat on the BBQ and just enjoy the good life.
