A Pet Nat Prosecco? More like an ancient way of making Italian sparkling wine, modernised by one of Australia’s leading Italian variety winemakers. Bright fresh apple and pear aromatics, crisp and dry on the palate but the lees adds a slightly saline biscuit texture.
Phil’s notes: “Super light, super refreshing, super summer-y. Or something like that. Solid release once again from Vino Intrepido. The sediment provides a nucleation point for the bubbles to last in the bottle for what seems an eternity. Grapes sourced from the acclaimed Box Grove Vineyard in Nagambie Lakes at the quality one would expect. I can see several bottles being opened over a long summer BBQ lunch for sure.”
