Just over two tonnes of Nero d’Avola was hand-picked and delivered to the winery, where it was de-stemmed and sat on skins for only one week when it was a few days into active fermentation. Once pressed it completed it’s fermentation in a stainless steel tank, then was transferred to three mature French oak puncheons (500L). After spending only four months in barrel the wine was racked and blended, then bottled at the end of August 2020

If you were ever after a mid-weight, late Autumn red to share with good food and great friends then look no further. Lovely dark red to black fruits, subtle yet elegant tannins and crunchy acidity make this the kind of wine that just screams out to be paired with Italian food and mindless conversation. Delicious stuff.
